Cataract Fellowship (SICS)
Duration: 2 Months
Eligibility: MS/DO/DNB in Ophthalmology.
Timings: 09:00 AM TO 05:00 PM
Program details:
- 60 SICS cases under the guidance of senior surgeons with a step-by-step wise approach.
- Management of the general ophthalmology OPD.
- Case presentations and clinical discussion.
- Logbook maintenance
- Intake of fellows will be thrice a year. Only one fellow would be enrolled at a given time. For maintaining personalized and dedicated training.
Note: Accommodation and conveyance are not included in the program.


Medical Retina fellowship program
Duration: 8 weeks
Eligibility: MS/MD/DO/DNB in Ophthalmology.
Timings: 09:00 AM TO 05:00 PM
Program details:
- The fellowship includes exposure to diagnosis and management of a myriad of medical retina and uvea cases, lasers, intravitreal injections and ROP screenings.
- Exposure and learning in imaging modalities like OCT, OCT-A, FFA, USG, UBM etc.
- The candidate will have to actively participate in case presentations and clinical discussions.
- Research work would be appreciated and funding for one research project shall be granted from the institute.

Surgical Retina
Duration: 10 cases/ 4 weeks
Eligibility: MS/DNB/DO/VITREORETINA Fellowship Degree.
Timings: 09:00 AM TO 05:00 PM
Program details:
- In this program, the focus will be on providing candidates with a thorough understanding of all steps involved in basic vitreoretinal surgery.
- Operating machines would be Constellation, Alcon.
- Viewing system: Contactless BIOM
- Recording system: Sony HD 4K
- Microscope: Lumera Carl Zeiss
- All cases will be supervised and guided by an experienced Vitreoretinal Surgeon.
- Furthermore, the candidate will have the opportunity to participate and learn in the OPD and will have exposure to a variety of imaging modalities and procedures.

Anterior Vitrectomy
Duration: 10 cases/ 4 Weeks
Eligibility: MS/DNB/DO in Ophthalmology.
Timings: 09:00 AM TO 05:00 PM
Program details:
- The program will be concentrated on making the candidate confident in Anterior Vitrectomy via pars plana approach along with steps of secondary scleral fixated IOL placement. Operating machine would be Constellation, Alcon. Microscope: Zeiss Lumera.
- All cases will be under supervision and guidance of a senior Vitreoretinal surgeon and would be subjected to his expertise.
- The candidate will also have a role and learning aspect in the OPD and will have exposure to various imaging modalities including OCT, OCTA, Fundus imaging with Angiogram, B scan, UBM etc.
